Naci Kaplan

In 1972, I was born in Kars. After completing my primary education in Kars, my hometown, I had to leave school life in high school 2 while continuing my secondary and high school education in Amasya. Due to the fact that I am from Kars, I was engaged in cattle breeding, which is our father's profession, until 1994. In 1995, I met the white meat sector, which I saw a future in, with the distributorship of a company in Kars-Ardahan. I continued my commercial life in Kars, our hometown, until 2004. Then, by moving my business to Istanbul, I made bulk purchases from various white meat integrations, Horaca supply during the tourism season, and advanced the business in the white meat sector by selling to the eastern and southeastern provinces. In 2009, I started white meat production by purchasing Aspiliç, of which I am currently a partner. I turned my company, which employed 100 people in 2009, into a large company employing 1000 people within 10 years. In 2021, I was elected as the chairman of the board of directors of BESD-BİR, the Association of White Meat Industrialists and Breeders Association, known as the umbrella association of our sector. While continuing my duty, I purchased the slaughterhouse and further processing facility in Osmaneli district of Bilecik province in 2023 and my company, which employs a total of 1650 people and ranks among the top 8 in its sector, continues its activities. In January 2024, I was re-elected as the president of the BESD-BIR Association, which I continue to serve as president, and I continue my duty by being elected to the second term board of directors of TGDF.
